Brandon is a MASc student in Industrial Engineering specializing in engineering education at the Troost Institute for Leadership Education in Engineering (ILEAD), the Institute for Studies in Transdisciplinary Engineering Education and Practice (ISTEP), and the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (MIE). His research focuses on how the stories of an expert of a system, who are from a different discipline, affect student understanding of the system. For his work, he draws from engineering, education, and his experience as a professional storyteller.

At the GCAC, Brandon is an instructor for the Academic Conversation Skills Intensive and 6-week courses.
