Boot Camps

Overview

GCAC Boot Camps are all-day events over 2–3 days, designed to give U of T graduate students a blend of expert guidance and dedicated writing time.

By combining opportunities for distraction-free writing with instruction on either dissertations or research articles, we help graduate students to meet their writing goals, deepen their understanding of academic writing, and build a community of writers:

  • Dissertation Boot Camps occur in February, June, and August.
  • Research Article Boot Camps occur in June and December.
  • Master’s Thesis Boot Camps occur in April.
