Ameer Sarwar

Ameer Sarwar is a PhD candidate in Computational Biology at the Department of Cell and Systems Biology. His research develops statistical methods to understand large-scale biological datasets, with particular focus on single-cell functional genomics. He holds a BA and MA in Philosophy, both from U of T, and an MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford.

At the GCAC, he teaches on the Writing CIHR Proposals and Writing NSERC Proposals Intensive courses.
