Rita Ferrando
Rita Ferrando is a Master of Visual Studies candidate at the University of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty, where her research and artistic practice engage the moving image. Her SSHRC-funded thesis investigates public gardens as sites of queer erotics and emergent futurities, drawing on archival research into the work of filmmaker and gardener Derek Jarman.
At the GCAC, Rita supports graduate students in the Academic Conversation Skills intensive course and facilitates workshops.
