Zhen Wang

Zhen Wang is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto. Her SSHRC-funded dissertation examines how risks in the financial market have evolved in the post-2008 era through the behaviors of financial institutions and their interactions with (de)regulation. Zhen holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from Boston University and worked as a tax accountant before pursuing her graduate studies.

At the GCAC, Zhen leads workshops related to networking and professional development for graduate students seeking non-academic careers.
